As I stared at a blank screen this morning wondering what to blog about today, I looked up and there was a beautiful sunrise right before my eyes. God's gift to us each day. While looking out the window it dawned on me (no pun intended) that an answer was coming, I just had to wait and be still for a moment.
Once I made my decision to write about daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law, I remember staring at a blank screen many mornings. Until the screen filled with my misspelled words and chopped-up sentences (I didn't know about spell check). The challenge before me was overwhelming at times. Yet in the early morning hours is when I found the words flowing, although not perfectly written or a lot at one time, soon the blank screen seemed to fill up with just enough words for that day. Over time they began to make sense and create a story.
Sneak peek: Chapter 15
"I better understand how to use the gifts that I have been given--gifts that I thought were just something I enjoyed doing without realizing that they are intended to glorify Him by sharing with others."
Have a wonderful day!
