By moving the clocks ahead or behind, are we really changing time? In reality, time can't be moved back and it can't be moved forward...we are only here at this moment. What we plan may differ according to what the numbers show on a clock, but time isn't actually changing. The sun will continue to come up and set in its own time.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 "A Time For Everything." 1-There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.
The rest of this scripture doesn't sugarcoat how time treats us. It describes how one season rolls into the next.
In my book, I Called Her Nan, I was given the chance to express many changes in seasons over the course of twenty years. However, 2022 took me through this scripture verse by verse in a short time. Here are a few that stood out the most. 1 -A time to be born (grandchild), a time to die (my dad). 3 -A time to kill (thoughts/hurts), a time to heal (prayer). A time to tear down and a time to mend. 7- A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to weep and a time to laugh. 8- A time for war and a time for peace.
11- He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from the beginning to end.
