I am ecstatic about having, I Called Her Nan now available as a Kindle edition!
Just like everything about writing this book has been a challenge, figuring out how to transfer it to a Kindle edition has been no exception. However, I feel that it's an important option, so I chose to push through the obstacles that kept making me want to give up. To offer women a choice to hear about the journey of being a daughter-in-law to becoming a mother-in-law is important. Some may not see well and need the larger print, whereas someone may want to read it on a trip and need the extra lighting that the Kindle provides.
The audiobook will give women who spend a lot of time in their car the choice to hear the aha and I didn't know moments while waiting in a carpool line or driving to work. For myself, I enjoy listening to a book on my long rides to Virginia a few times a year. It makes the trip go faster and I enjoy the company. Plus, I can't pass up the chance to hear a sappy story!
Of course, the handheld version may be the choice for those that enjoy some sit-down time with a cup of tea. Warning, a few tissues may be needed.
I Called Her Nan, is a story that opens the door to making lots of new choices with your daughters-in-law, mothers-in-law, and even your friends. It shines a light on how you hear, how you listen, how you respond in these relationships. Ultimately, giving each reader or listener the choice to try to understand what's it's like to walk in someone else's shoes.
