Sneak Peek: Chapter 8-
I never knew the anxiety that went along with having a child deployed in wartime. My heart hurt so much at times I could not breathe from worrying. While all along Danielle was newly married, and her husband had just left for seven months. When most newlyweds are together setting up a house, Danielle found herself married and living in a strange town alone.
Here is one of those, "I just didn't know moments." While Danielle and I dealt with our own grief, we didn't recognize what each other was going through until it was too late. Before long a new tension developed between us that caused even more stress and hurt feelings.
As you continue reading this chapter, you'll see how it took the second deployment for us to figure out how important family support and working together can be!
This blog is dedicated to all military wives and moms! Especially to my daughter-in-law, Danielle.
