Make It Worth Sharing

cathylopesmk

So many times people have asked, "What made you decide to write a book?"

My response may seem simple yet it's the reason behind writing, I Called Her Nan.

I wanted to give other daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law the chance to have a healthy start to their relationship, by learning to communicate more effectively. To give the already existing daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law an opportunity to see each other with new eyes. My desire is to have all women take a moment to walk in someone else's shoes, for we really never know what someone is going through or been through in their lives.

It took years to persuade myself that these life experiences and lessons were worth sharing!

This book could not have written twenty years ago when my mother-in-law passed away, for I had yet to live what needed to be written. Feelings had yet to be hurt, discoveries were yet to be made, joyful moments were yet to be enjoyed and realizations were yet to be revealed! All of this has been part of the journey.

In the early morning hours before the sun peaked its head upon the horizon, words would find their way on blank pages. Over time, the pages started to fill up with memories, and discoveries that soon became a labor of love... something God placed on my heart to share with others.

Sneak peek, Epilogue.

You are the writer of your own story. Make it worth sharing!
