This photo looks so inviting! You can almost feel the warmth as the breeze gently blows the pages open. There's no rhyme or reason as to which pages are turned or what chapter it will land on when the wind stops blowing. Oh, how I wish I could be at the beach feeling the sand between my toes and watching the puffy clouds make shapes as they pass along the blue sky. I'd be holding a book in my hands in hopes of reading a few pages. It reminds me of all the books I use to read before cell phones began stealing my time.
However, this evening I'm sitting on a couch with my laptop eating (half, lol) of a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich (So yummy!) determined to write a little before I head off to bed. I just finished talking and laughing with a friend which motivated me to jot a few words down. As I reached for my laptop I noticed the book I wrote, "I Called Her Nan." When I picked it up, my fingers created the wind flowing through the pages just like the breeze on the beach, blowing the words into the air, only to be heard by those interested in the topic.
It landed in Chapter 12 titled, Different Paths. It's a short chapter and I remember writing every word. I'll share part of the last paragraph:
"We are not here to fix or change people, and most importantly, we are not to judge one another. Through time, I've learned that accepting and loving people right where they are may be the only Jesus they see or feel in the middle of their struggles. How they perceive our presence is up to them for, in the end, we are only responsible for how we treat others."
You can hear the rest of the chapter on the Audiobook! It can be purchased from Amazon or through this website, www.icalledhernan.com
It's also available in paperback and on Kindle.
Have a wonderful day!
